2024

• Established a teaching collaboration with Fernvale Primary School to deliver the Guzheng Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) programme.

 

2025

• Students achieved Gold Medal and Silver Award at the 6th Singapore Golden Lion Awards International Music Festival (2025第六届新加坡金狮杯国际音乐节).

• Established a teaching collaboration with Bartley Secondary School to deliver the Guzheng Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) programme.

• Ms. Wang Kena Served as a Judge for the 2025 Edinbinary International Music Competition at The Arts House Singapore.

• Melod Music guzheng students achieved outstanding results in the 2025 Edinbinary International Music Competition, at The Arts House Singapore, winning 3 Gold, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze Awards.

• Two guzheng students who were awarded gold medals at the 2025 Edinbinary International Music Competition were subsequently invited to play a guzheng duet at Singapore Victoria Concert Hall.

• A guzheng student from Melod Music secured a confirmed DSA offer to the 2025 DSA-Sec Chinese Orchestra Programme at Raffles Institution. 

• Participated in the GLCC (Gospel Light Christian Church) Mid-Autumn Concert (中秋福音晚会), guiding students in stage performances.

• Held the Melod Music Education Annual Concert, featuring student solo and duet performances.

• Participated in the “Summer Rhapsody 3” Recital Series (筝情盛夏3) organised by the Singapore Guzheng Association, where four Melod Music students performed as soloists.

• Melod Music students won Silver and Bronze Awards at the 2025 Nanyang International Music Competition (第六届南洋国际音乐大赛). Ms. Wang Kena was honoured with the Excellence in Teaching Award.

• In 2025, a guzheng student from Melod Music underwent official examinations and was awarded Distinction in Guzheng Performance Grade by two authorities: The Central Conservatory of Music (中央音乐学院-演奏文凭级) and the Confucius Institute at Nanyang Technological University (南洋理工大学孔子学院-专业演奏级).

2026

• Established a teaching collaboration with Hong Wen School to deliver the Chinese Cultural Programme (Guzheng).

• Participated in GLCC (Gospel Light Christian Church) Chinese New Year Reunion Concert. The guzheng and violin students each performed one solo piece, followed by a collaborative duet ensemble.

• Students achieved Silver and Bronze Awards at the 7th Singapore Golden Lion Awards International Music Festival (第七届新加坡金狮杯国际音乐节).

• In collaboration with Melod Music Education, the guzheng ensemble of Fernvale Primary School attained the Certificate of Distinction at the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) 2026.

• Participated in the “Summer Rhapsody 4” Recital Series (筝情盛夏4) organised by the Singapore Guzheng Association. Under Ms. Wang Kena’s instruction, five Guzheng students performed as soloists.

• Students from Melod Music participated as solists at the 2026 Edinbinary International Music Competition.
